Extract from Wah Tsz Yat Po, Hong Kong, 24th March, 1927)
Speech by Cheung Kai Shak on the 7th March in the Generalissimo's Headquarters in Nanchang.
Hopes of the Kuomintang Government now that it has
been transferred to Hupeh.
Our Alliance with Soviet Russia is an alliance with
all her people and not with her individual representatives.
No action of any individual can affect our policy of
alliance with Soviet Russia.
Though Cheung is innocent on any such charge, a false accusation has been brou ht against him of having allied
himself with the enemy and with Japan.
This is a libel to aguerse his ability as a revolutionary leader and satisfy the desires of those who wish to destroy
the National Revolution.
